CNC Turner-Operator/Programmer, Fanuc

Location: Northamptonshire, UK

 

For  our client in Northamptonshire we are looking for skilled CNC Turner - Operator/Setter/Programmer

 

 Key Responsibilities include:

 

• Operate and Set CNC machines, inspect first off
• Programming CNC lathes from the panel of machine
• Inspecting work produced at all machining (auto and manual) operations using measuring equipment to engineering drawings and reporting any quality defeats to supervision
• Conducting daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on machines, including maintaining good housekeeping standards, support daily actions such as oil top up, coolant monitoring and reporting any issues promptly to supervision

 

 Requirements:

 

• Practical, hands on experience setting and operating CNC Lathes
• Very good knowledge of  Fanuc

• Manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, and apply correct choice of measuring equipment
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once and to tight deadlines

 

 

Our Client Offers:

 

• Full time, permanent contract
• Pay rate: £13.00 -  £14.00/ per hour
